I was amazed to actually speak to a real person after I signed up for this app.
I feel that this app is very handy for the on the go boss such as mine at big boy bail bonds. I like the ability of being able to edit a shift so simply, for example I was at my desk and forgot to clock in and when I finished my shift I could edit it and it would get approved by my supervisor. Definitely a handy app to have
The app looks like it will accomplish electronic time tracking for our environment just fine. It needs a few minor tweaks, but not a facelift.
Great app! You can enter multiple times per day and also add locations and projects completed. If I could create a PDF of times to email from my phone I would give it 5 stars!
Weve been using Boomr for over a year and I have to say I like it quite a bit! Theyve added features such as editing a shift, and overall the experience has improved since we started using it. Overall pretty solid app!
It would be benefiting to merge the previous version and the new one. I loved how detailed the previous version was. Other than that, I wouldnt trust any other apps to track and calculate my hours. Thanks Boomr!

Some bad moments

The app gets updated often but features you had that were useful get taken away such as notes (which have been added, removed, then added again in the past 5 months) and time adjustments which were recently removed. Time adjustments are extremely important when the app doesnt register your clock out/in times like its supposed to. About 4 times a month the app appears to receive proper clock in/out commands but then I find out the next day that Im still clocked in and cant adjust my times. The notes are also useless to your employer as they cant see them unless they pay extra for a feature that the employees seem to have intermittently. Notes that I did use were removed during an update and made it impossible to keep track of my hours properly and I lost wages for hours worked because I relied on boomer to keep those notes. Lost money because of this app. Use at your own risk. Always keep pen and paper log times as back ups. In fact just use the old school method. If you cant rely on boomer then whats the point of wasting your time logging your hours twice.
It is supposed to track employees hour but we cannot manage hours by ourselves.
Great concept but user interface for employees is very limited.
Boomr is an extremely disappointing app. My employer had me use this app to clock and out of but beware if your employer was out to screw you over; this is the app. He deleted his account and I no longer have record of my time sheets. As if I never was an employee. Even after speaking with technical support, granted they were kind but the bottom line is they werent able to give me my time logs. So, as an employee using this app I would go in with caution because this can happen to you.
It gets the job done if you want to keep track of employee times. I dont like the fact I have to login to a computer to manual add time if someone didnt clock in.. overall its a good app, but I hope they continue to improve it
The app does indeed track people and their location and the hours worked so in that aspect it works. But as an admin I shouldnt have to put in a lower subordinates code to clock him in when Im trying to clock in 20 different people it becomes a task and then to put the task of what they did today and have to reenter the code after I just put it in the clock them and Im doing it twice for every guy 20 guys later I had to do it 40 times. Now I cant add tasks to guys time and it is so confusing. What is terminal mode and then why do I not get options to add tasks. Also I have to force close the app every time and then open it again to refresh to see if guys are on my side or not
